Breed: Beagle

Beagle w lesie

Active, cheerful and devoted

The Beagle is a medium-sized hound with a harmonious, sturdy build. It originates from Great Britain, where for centuries it was used in packs to hunt small game (mainly hares). This hunting past has shaped its independent, persevering character and incredibly sensitive sense of smell – in terms of tracking ability, the Beagle is second only to Bloodhounds.

Today, the Beagle is primarily a wonderful family dog. It is characterized by gentleness, a joy for life, and immense patience, making it get along great with children and other animals. They are extremely sociable dogs who hate loneliness and feel best in the center of the household.

In our kennel, we emphasize maintaining the original, balanced temperament of the breed – we want our dogs to show a great scent passion in the field, and at home be calm, quiet, and relaxed companions.
